Options
The
Model 2000 series instrumentation can utilize almost any inlet system,
including the revolutionary thermal desorption system from
Microanalytics. The Model 3200 offers a number of

standard Model 6890 inlets, such as the cool-on-column and PTV are
available as options as well.

Detector Options
For most single column applications, the column terminates at:
-
FID/Olfactory Port with 1:1 split - or
-
MSD/Olfactory
Port with variable split (depending on column ID and/or MSD pumping
system)
For the Model 2100 and 2120 Multidimensional series of
instrumentation, the 1st column terminates at a FID as a monitor detector.
The 2nd column terminates at the MSD/Olfactory Port interface as described
above.
Both the 5973N and 5975N series of mass spectrometers may be
utilized for these systems. Please contact Microanalytics for
detailed information on the desired configuration.
Instrumentation Options
Option 2050 - Dual Inlet
This option is available on all M series AromaTrax instrument
systems.
Option 2120 - Dual Oven,
Multidimensional GC-Olfactory/MS system
This option is available only on the Model 2100 Multidimensional
GC-Olfactory system.
Option 2160 - 1st Column Olfactory Bypass
This option is available on all Model 2100 and Model 2120 series AromaTrax
instrument systems.
Option 2180 - Dual olfactory port
This option is available on all M series AromaTrax instrument
systems.
