Multidimensional Control System with NetLink
To facilitate the analysis of compounds via multidimensional GC,
the ability to control timed events, such as heartcuts, cryofocus and backflush,
is crucial. It is also advantageous for the controller to be able to
synchronize with the associated hardware.
The MultiTrax controller system was developed to meet these
requirements, not only for a single analysis, but for a gas chromatography
sequence. This allows the user to define and schedule different timed
events for each sample in a autosampler sequence.
A hardware/software hybrid, MultiTrax can handle multiple timed
events in multiple programs across a platform of up to two (2) complete GC or
GC/MS systems.
MultiTrax also has the ability, via the analog interface of the
NetLink controller, to handle analog signal input and output. This allows
